In addition to its primary duties of fire
suppression, emergency medical services (EMS) and rescue work, the
Fire Department carries on extensive fire prevention, inspection and
education programs. To carry out its many responsibilities,
the Department is divided into four Divisions:
Emergency Services,
Fire Prevention, the
Emergency Management Agency (EMA)
and Administrative.
