The responsibilities of the Public Works
Department include the maintenance and repair of the City
infrastructure, property and equipment. The Department also
provides emergency services such as snow and ice control,
flood assistance, and windstorm damage pick up. Divisions
include Buildings and Grounds, Forestry, Environmental Services,
Sewers, Street Maintenance, Street Special Services, Water
Maintenance, Water Meter, Water Treatment and Pumping, and Vehicle
Maintenance. The Public Works Department can be reached at
