The City of Des Plaines believes that our municipality works best when residents and business owners are involved and engaged. Serving as a member of the City Council, or City-related board or commission is an important way to serve your community and make a positive impact on the direction it takes in the future.

Through the efforts of these public service volunteers, your City Council is able to determine the best course of action and the benefits of those actions. We truly appreciate the work of the board appointees and committee volunteers that offer their personal time to help steer the community successfully.
