ARC Disposal typically begins yard waste collections on or around
April 1 and is available until the first week in December.
Residents must place yard waste in 32-gallon containers, with lid
and handles that have a 12" red ‘X’ around the body of the
container. Residents may also place yard waste in 2-ply yard waste
paper bags. Containers and bags must not weigh over 50 pounds. Do
not place yard waste in plastic bags, cardboard boxes or in
designated garbage containers.
Tree limbs or branches must not exceed four inches in diameter
and four feet in length. Tree limbs and branches must be tied in a
bundle with string or twine (no wire or plastic). Bundles must not
exceed 50 pounds.
Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, plant clippings,
twigs, small branches and brush. No fruits or vegetables. No dirt or
roots.
