2009 Press Release: Census Workers Verify City Addresses in Des
Plaines

The City of Des Plaines has received notification that United
States Census Bureau employees, in preparation for the 2010 Census,
have begun to verify City addresses and their corresponding
locations. The verification of addresses is expected to take
approximately 4-6 weeks and should be completed by the end of May,
2009. Census employees wear identification badges and display census
placards in their vehicles.
