2009 Press Release: Katie's Kitchen is Open For Business

Wolf Road, Des Plaines, is open for business! An official grand opening ribbon cutting was held Tuesday, February 24, 2009, marking the event. The restaurant, which is open daily from 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, features a private dining room available for reservation, a catering service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The new restaurant, which is a member of the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is conveniently located in the shopping strip mall at Wolf and Central Roads. A variety of dishes are served including "The Farmer Scramblers" consisting of eggs, potatoes, green peppers, onions, and bacon bits, smothered in Cheddar Cheese for $6.95; "The Louisiana," an egg soufflé with shrimp, Sante Fe chicken, sausage, zucchini, peppers, onions, tomatoes and Monterey cheese for $8.95; and Apple Cinnamon Cobbler, walnuts and a cinnamon cobbler topped with baked peaches for $6.95, to mention a few.
