2008 Press Release: School Board Members Day

 November 15, 2008 is School Board Members
Day in Des Plaines as proclaimed by Mayor Tony Arredia. Members of
Elementary School District 62 School Board posed for a photograph in
the Mayor’s Office as the official proclamation was presented. The
proclamation recognizes the leadership role school boards play in
regards to the education of local school children and their overall
impact on the quality of life in the community. (pictured left to
right) District 62 School Board Member Steven Adams, President of
the Board of Education Brenda Murphy, Superintendent of School
District 62 Dr. Jane Westerhold, and School Board Member Bob Suriano
