2008 Press Release: Des Plaines Firefighters Sell Pink T-Shirts
For immediate release
October 2, 2008
Des Plaines Firefighters, in conjunction with the Des Plaines
Firefighters Union Local 4211, will be selling pink t-shirts 8:30 am
– 5:00 pm, Wednesday – Friday, October 8, 9, and 10, 2008, from Fire
Station #1, 405 S. River Road, as a benefit to the Susan G. Koman
Breast Cancer Foundation. Shirts will be sold for $15, with the
exception of XXL, which will be sold for $20.
Proceeds from the sales will be donated on behalf of the mothers,
wives, daughters and girlfriends of the Des Plaines Firefighters.
Cash payment is preferred. Checks may be made payable to the Des
Plaines Firefighters Union Local 4211 with "Pink" written in the
memo.
