2008 Press Release: Battalion Chief Barrett Retires
For immediate release
January 23, 2008
 The Des Plaines Fire Department recently
held a coffee honoring Battalion Chief Tom Barrett. Barrett worked
for the City from April 24, 1978 until January 16, 2008. In addition
to thirty years of service to the City Barrett, worked for the
Chicago Fire Department for 10 years. (pictured above left to right)
Retiring Battalion Chief Tom Barrett is congratulated by Fire Chief
Randy Jaeger at Fire Station #1 where the retirement reception was
held.
