2008 Press Release: Attention: Social Services Agencies!

Kathy Puetz, MSW, of the Health and Human Services Division,
would like Social Services Agencies to be aware of the following
information:
Please be advised that the City of Des Plaines is beginning its
process of preparing recommendations on funding requests from
various social service agencies for the City’s 2008 Budget. If you
are interested in receiving consideration for funding from the City
of Des Plaines, your cooperation is needed in completing the below
application and returning your agency’s request to our office no
later than Friday, February 1, 2008. Please note: Your agency will
be asked to prepare a 15-minute presentation. The date and time of
this presentation will be forthcoming. If you have any questions
regarding whether or not your social service agency would be
eligible for funding, please feel free to contact my office at
847-391-5480.
Please note that the City will seek to fund social service
agencies that provide service to individuals residing in the
corporate limits of the City of Des Plaines. The street key provided
will assist you in answering questions in the application. Thank
