The City of Des Plaines recently bid farewell to Human Resources
Compensation Specialist Lisa Reiplinger, who began employment on
December 8, 1986, and Police Records Clerk Terry Thiry, who began
employment on November 17, 1997. Coffees were held in their honor.

managing her own retail store called Giftology, 1219 N. Green
Street, McHenry, Illinois.
Des Plaines Fire Department
Division Chief Mike Thiry (left) poses with his wife Terry (right),
who has served the Des Plaines Police Department as a Records Clerk
since November 17, 1997. Terry Thiry’s last day of service was
Friday, November 2, 2007. Her husband, Mike, is planning a
retirement from the Fire Department in the spring.
