2007 Press Release: It's Constitution Week in Des Plaines

 It’s Constitution Week in Des Plaines,
September 17 – 23, 2007. Representative of the 21st Star Chapter of
the Daughters of the American Revolution Pat O’Connell met with Des
Plaines Mayor Tony Arredia to witness the signing of the original
proclamation declaring the week.. The document states: "The two
hundred eighteenth anniversary of the signing of the Constitution
provides a historic opportunity for all Americans to realize the
achievements of the Framers of the Constitution and the rights,
privileges and responsibilities it affords."
