The Economic Development Commission's mission is to create and maintain a favorable environment for the growth and expansion of business, industry, and commerce within the City. In its advisory role to the City Council, the Economic Development Commission recommends areas within the City limits for revitalization, redevelopment and business formation. The Economic Development Coordinator serves as a conduit between developers and the City and serves as a resource for the Economic Development Commission. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 am in room 101.
