Des Plaines Youth Commission
The Des Plaines Youth Commission needs your help! Whether you are
a junior high or high school student interested in joining the
commission's advisory board or an adult looking for a way to
participate in the lives of young people within the community, we
want to hear from you! The Commission itself consists of 10
individuals appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council.
Several opportunities exist within sub-committees and event
planning. If you are interested in learning more,
send an email
and a member of the executive board will be in touch. Please feel
free to offer ideas and suggestions as well!

Description of event: The Youth Advisory Board and Friends Connect
get together at the Des Plaines Teen Center for video games, open
gym, Wii, DDR, and Open Gym. Come and make your own Ice cream
sundae!
April, 2010 starts Registration for Co-Rec High School Softball
played at Rand Park on Saturday nights from June through the
beginning of August. Gather your friends for a summer of fun in the
outdoors.
